Gift Ideas for Crafty People

I loooooove being crafty. I don’t always have the time, but I try to squeeze it in when I can. Friends often ask me to suggest gift ideas for someone they know that also loves spending time crafting.

Here are a few items I’d suggest, based on the type of crafting the recipient is interested in.

Lovely Lettering

Maybe you’ve heard them comment on how someone’s penmanship is really nice, or you’ve seen them admiring a lettering ‘how-to’ guide or video.

Tombow has some of the best writing tools for everyone from beginners to experts.  I use the mono drawing pens and twin tone markers that were recently released this year.

Memory Keeper

This would be a great gift for someone that may take lots of pictures and journal about their experiences. You might even throw in a gift card for them to have their pictures printed from their phones and delivered.

Organized & Creative

Having a planner doesn’t have to be just pen and paper. (Scroll through the #planneraddict hashtag on Instagram) Erin Condren makes some a great selection of planners and accessories to add a little bit of pizzaz to the page. If you’re ordering for the first time, you can save $10 on your order here!

Loves Color

I mean, who doesn’t love color? Of course I could recommend any of the Tombow products because the color payout with their dual tip markers is really great. I’d also suggest getting them a stamp & ink set from scrapbook.com. Stamping doesn’t take as much time as actually painting/coloring and you get really great images on the page pretty quickly. Here are a few stamp and inks that I’ve tried and loved.

(Hero Arts Stamps)

This is definitely just a start. Think about what you know the person is interested in and take a look at scrapbook.com or blitsy.com. They both have a great selection and pretty good shipping.

Are you shopping for someone crafty? What ideas do you have for gifting?
